PresentingThis 57 year old woman fell, fractured her elbow, and had surgery while out of the country. This x-ray shows that the elbow is dislocated out of place; the two forearm bones are shifted inward relative to the upper arm bone. This right-handed patient had moderate to severe pain and was unable to use her arm for any activity that required lifting or movement of the elbow.
